The effect of parathyroidectomy on the BMD in postmenopausal women with mild primary hyperparathyroidism: the results of comparative retrospective dynamic study

Objective: To study the effect of parathyroidectomy (PTE) on the BMD in postmenopausal women with primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT).Materials and methods: We studied 38 postmenopausal women with mild PHPT without osteoporosis (T-score ≥ −2,5 by DXA).
